We're celebrating 25 years of Taking Part with a joyous season of work created with our local communities. Find out more.

The Young Vic is looking for a Deputy Head of Stage to join our Production department.

A registered charity and theatrical powerhouse, the Young Vic is synonymous with innovation, inclusivity, accessibility and creativity. We create performances that catalyse debate and are priced accessibly for our audiences, giving 10% of tickets away to those who experience barriers to engaging with the arts. We are deeply rooted in our local communities of Lambeth and Southwark, through Taking Part, at the same time as being internationally recognised for productions made with the world’s finest performers and creative teams. Last year we expanded our access and reach by launching Best Seat in the House, a new livestreaming platform that has broadcast our productions to over 38 countries. We are also proud of our work developing the next generation of emerging talent through our Creators Program.

The Young Vic has always been more than a theatre – bigger than a building; it’s a set of values that uphold the conviction that theatre is an indispensable part of civic life.  Whether on our stages at our home on The Cut, touring to schools and community centres across South London, premiering a play in the West End or on Broadway, streaming our work across the country and around the world – we are actively working to be a theatre for everyone.
