We are looking for a part-time Finance Manager for a 13 month fixed term maternity cover at the Young Vic.

Whether on our stages at our home on The Cut, touring to schools and community centres across South London, premiering a play in the West End or on Broadway, streaming our work across the country and around the world – the Young Vic is actively working to be a theatre for everyone.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will oversee the Young Vic’s day-to-day financial systems, controls and processes and manage two team members. You will ensure accurate, efficient and compliant record-keeping, timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders, and uphold appropriate financial controls for the effective safeguarding of the charitable company’s assets. You will be leading on the accurate recording and reporting of income and payroll, managing the month end and monitoring cash-flow. You will also support the Finance Director with financial planning, system development and compilation of monthly management accounts, annual accounts and other reports.

Salary: £42,000 pro rata

Contract: 13 Month fixed term contract. Part-part time 3.5 days per week with 1 day in the office. Exact days flexible, but working to a regular weekly working pattern.
