The Young Vic is looking for a Head of Lighting to join our busy and successful Theatre.

The Young Vic has always been more than a theatre – bigger than a building; it’s a set of values that uphold the conviction that theatre is an indispensable part of civic life.  Whether on our stages at our home on The Cut, touring to schools and community centres across South London, premiering a play in the West End or on Broadway, streaming our work across the country and around the world – we are actively working to be a theatre for everyone.  

 

About the role

 The Head of Lighting, working alongside the Technical Director and the wider Production department, is responsible for the delivery of all Lighting requirements of Young Vic productions and related projects. The successful candidate will have Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation including CDM and procedures as related to the theatre industry and have the ability to lead and manage a team.

Salary: £41,200 per annum plus some overtime

Contract: Permanent, Full time.
