We are excited to share that our Olivier Award-winning production of Death of a Salesman is heading to Broadway next season.
The production will see Wendell Pierce and Olivier Award winner Sharon D. Clarke reprise their roles as Willy and Linda Loman under the direction of Miranda Cromwell. Cromwell and co-director Marianne Elliott won the Best Director Olivier Award for the Young Vic / West End production in 2020.
“I have always been fascinated by the Loman family’s wrestle with assimilation, and the cost of that struggle on one’s mental health, on your family and on your community. This production breathes new life into a show that people think they know.”
Young Vic Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah
Tony Award winner André De Shields (Hadestown) joins the cast as Willy’s brother, Ben and Khris Davis (Heart of a Lion, Sweat, Atlanta, Judas and the Black Messiah) joins as the Lomans’ son Biff.
Additional information about the production will be announced at a later date.
