It was a very proud night for the Young Vic at last night's Evening Standard Awards. We are delighted to have won two awards! Our recent critically acclaimed productions of both Yerma and Cuttin' It were recognised.
Billie Piper picked up the award for Best Actress at the ceremony last night for her "devastatingly powerful performance" (The Daily Telegraph) in Yerma.
Charlene James took home the award for Most Promising Playwright for her play Cuttin' It, described by the Evening Standard as "70 of the finest minutes of drama 2016 is likely to offer".
