Our Social Media Community Guidelines
The Young Vic’s mission is to make work for and with our community, and part of this mission means being a civic town hall, creating space for expression and important conversations.
Our social media channels are there to share our work with the community, to stimulate dialogue and to engage in conversation with audiences from all corners of the world. We will keep you up to date with news about our projects and upcoming events, with exciting and relevant content for you to enjoy. In return, we welcome your thoughts and constructive feedback about our work.
Our small Marketing team regularly monitor these channels during their working hours to answer your questions (Monday to Fridays, between 10am and 6pm). Whilst we want to hear from our community and encourage your comments, questions and suggestions, we ask that our whole community respect each other’s opinions. We reserve the right to remove any posts that we consider irrelevant, offensive, hateful or disrespectful to our community.
Any threats of violence, vandalism or harm against employees and the building will not be tolerated and will be reported to police and/or local authorities.
Last of all, please remember that all our followers also need to comply with the social media platform's own terms of use. If you see something that doesn't seem right, do try and make us aware if you feel able to do so.
If you have any ideas for how we can moderate our channels better, please email marketing@youngvic.org.
