Lynette Linton is a writer and Theatre Director. She was Associate Director of the Gate Theatre from 2016 to 2017 and recently the Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse until February 2018. In September 2017, she was nominated for Best Director at the Stage Debut Awards. She is also a co-founder of production company Black Apron Entertainment. Writing includes: Writer and producer for HASHTAG LIGHTIE (Arcola Theatre, Directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair, Currently under option to Mainstreet Pictures for TV); Writer and producer for CHICKEN PALACE (Theatre Royal Stratford East, Directed by Lynette Linton and Marcus Ellard); STEP (Theatre Royal Stratford East/various schools, Directed by Rikki Beadle-Blair).
Hana Oliveira is an actress, singer -songwriter born and raised in South London. She trained at Rose Bruford College on the American Theatre Arts program. Since graduating she has worked on various projects in partnership with the Young Vic, most recently; The Suppliant Women and Start Swimming which later transferred to the Edinburgh Fringe festival. Hana’s TV credits include BBC’s #HoodDocumentary and Enterprice created by Kayode Ewumi
Elayce Ismail is a theatre and opera director, RTYDS Associate Director at Northern Stage and an Associate Artist of Boundless Theatre. She was awarded the JP Morgan Award for Emerging Directors 2014/2015, under which she was Resident Director at the National Theatre Studio. Prior to this, she was a Jerwood Assistant Director at the Young Vic. Elayce trained at LISPA and has directed at companies including the National Theatre, Royal Opera House, Young Vic, Shakespeare’s Globe, Gate, Soho Theatre, Royal Court, Almeida and Deutsches Theater Berlin. She has directed puppetry for companies including Kneehigh and the Unicorn Theatre, and performed with companies including Oily Cart/RSC and Complicite/ENO. Direction includes: Nanjing (Shakespeare’s Globe); Under Milk Wood, The War of the Worlds (Northern Stage); Girls (HighTide/Talawa/Soho Theatre); Spooky Action at a Distance (Royal Court/RWCMD/Gate); The Iphigenia Quartet: Chorus, The Rise and Shine of Comrade Fiasco (Gate); Stay Another Song, Simpatico (Young Vic); The Lost Ring (NT/Deutsches Theater Berlin).
