Kenny Emson is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter. His plays include Quadrophenia (Mercury Theatre); Parkway Dreams (Sir John Mills Theatre); Terrorism (Bush Theatre); This Must be the Place (Vault Festival – co-written with Brad Birch); Plastic (Old Red Lion). He was co-creator, co-writer and associate producer on the BAFTA Craft, SXSW and Prix Italia nominated The Last Hours of Laura K and adapted Agatha Christie’s The Coming of Mister Quin which was nominated for a BAFTA CYMRU games award. He has written for EastEnders, Doctors, BBC Radio 3 and Radio 4, and has been shortlisted for the Bruntwood, Red Planet and Papatango Prizes as well as winning the Adrienne Benham, Off West End Adopt a Playwright and Mercury/Weinberger Playwriting awards.
Pixie Maddison: After coming late to the stage, in the last 2 years Pixie has appeared in plays at the Omnibus Theatre Clapham, St John's Church Waterloo and various community plays at the Young Vic, including And Yet It Moves, in which he played a lead role. He has also appeared as a community cast member in Kwame Kwei-Armah's Twelfth Night in the main theatre. He is part of the Cardboard Citizens homeless theatre group and has been involved in acting and playwriting classes. He has also taken part in and helped develop Forum theatre pieces.
Grace Gibson is a director and theatre-maker. Most recently her show How to Drown a Fish toured the U.K and later transferred to The Tank Theatre in New York City. She directed and choreographed Within Reach (Young Vic, Taking Part) and was the Associate Director of See Me Now, which was performed as a part of the British Council Edinburgh Showcase. She has collaborated with Tim Etchells to create Getting Down to it (Young Vic, Five Plays) and appeared in Tank Magazine’s Future Perfect Spring Edition 2018 collaborating with movement director Imogen Knight and photographer Gaby Laurent. She has worked internationally, directing in Tianjin and Shenzhen, China and is a visiting lecturer at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
