YV:IDemystify continues in Spring 2022, with a series of free events aimed at catalysing debate in the theatre sector. Through informal conversations between working professionals and audiences, YV:IDemystify provides a platform for the sharing of knowledge, questions, experiences, and best practice models.
YV:IDemystify began in 2020 with the question: how do we create a better and more transparent theatre sector? Better meaning more supportive to creators, storytellers and makers. More transparent in that the mechanisms for making work for the stage are revealed and challenged, and theatre makers are presented with innovative pathways for their creative journeys.
In 2022, YV:IDemystify will continue to address topics that are current to makers of work for the stage – to provide a toolkit and help to navigate the challenges of an often opaque industry.
